1. GENERAL INFORMATION

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GoMnemo, a free note-taking service provided by Evonia.Tech.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing and using GoMnemo, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Evonia.Tech.

3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

GoMnemo is a free note-taking application that allows you to store, organize, and manage your notes. The service provides:

  • Note creation and management - Create, edit, and delete notes
  • Category organization - Organize notes by categories
  • API access - Enable AI assistants to access your notes via secure API tokens
  • Search functionality - Find notes by title or content

GoMnemo is designed to be compatible with AI assistants like Claude.ai through secure API access that you control.

4. FREE SERVICE

GoMnemo is completely free to use. There are:

  • No subscription fees
  • No hidden costs
  • No premium plans
  • No payments required

GoMnemo will always remain free. However, voluntary donations are welcome to help cover servers, hosting, and development costs.

5. USER ACCOUNT

To use GoMnemo, you must create an account. Account creation requires:

  • A valid email address
  • A secure password
  • Acceptance of these Terms of Service

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality - Keep your password secure
  • Account activity - All activities that occur under your account
  • Security breaches - Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accurate information - Providing truthful account information

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.

6. USER CONTENT & OWNERSHIP

You retain full ownership of all content you create and store in GoMnemo.

By using the service, you grant us the limited right to:

  • Store your content on our servers (Supabase)
  • Process your content to provide the service
  • Display your content to you and AI assistants you authorize

We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not read, analyze, or use your notes for any purpose other than providing the service.

7. PROHIBITED USES

You agree NOT to use GoMnemo for:

  • Illegal content - Storing content that violates laws or regulations
  • Harmful content - Content that promotes violence, hate, or discrimination
  • Intellectual property infringement - Storing copyrighted material without authorization
  • Malicious purposes - Hacking, spreading malware, or attacking the service
  • Spam or abuse - Excessive API requests, account creation, or service abuse
  • Unauthorized access - Attempting to access other users' accounts or data

Violation of these prohibited uses may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

8. API TOKENS & SECURITY

GoMnemo provides API tokens that allow AI assistants to access your notes:

  • You are responsible for keeping your API tokens secure
  • You can generate, revoke, and manage tokens in your settings
  • Each token can have custom permissions (Read, Write, Delete)
  • Lost tokens cannot be recovered and must be regenerated
  • You are responsible for all actions performed using your tokens

9. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We strive to maintain 24/7 service availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance - Updates, backups, or improvements
  • Technical issues - Server problems, network outages, or bugs
  • Force majeure - Events beyond our control
  • Security incidents - Attacks, breaches, or abuse prevention

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.

10. DATA BACKUP & LOSS

While we implement backup systems and security measures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important notes.

We are not liable for data loss resulting from:

  • User error or accidental deletion
  • Technical failures or system errors
  • Security breaches or unauthorized access
  • Service interruptions or termination

11. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service
  • Update these Terms of Service at any time
  • Change pricing (though the service will remain free)

Changes to these terms will be effective upon posting. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through a prominent notice on the website.

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

By you: You may terminate your account at any time by sending an email to contact@gomnemo.app. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in prohibited uses or illegal activities
  • Abuse the service or API
  • Remain inactive for extended periods (with prior notice)

In case of termination for Terms violation, we may delete your data immediately without prior notice.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The GoMnemo website, application, code, design, logo, and branding are the intellectual property of Evonia.Tech and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the GoMnemo source code without authorization
  • Use the GoMnemo name, logo, or branding without permission
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the application

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

GoMnemo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evonia.Tech shall not be liable for:

  • Data loss or corruption - Loss of notes or account data
  • Service interruptions - Downtime, outages, or unavailability
  • Unauthorized access - Security breaches or hacking
  • Indirect damages - Lost profits, business interruption, or consequential damages
  • Third-party actions - AI assistants, Supabase, or other services

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (which is zero, as the service is free).

15. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evonia.Tech, its director, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your use or misuse of the service
  • Content you store in GoMnemo
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by French law.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of GoMnemo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
